Centralia Auction Terms and Conditions

These terms are final and cannot be altered. If you cannot follow these terms completely, we ask you to not bid or accept a bidder's card. If you do not understand any of these conditions, please ask the auctioneer before the auction.

Once you have been recognized and awarded as the winning bidder, you have entered into a legally binding contract and must follow through with all purchases made completely. All persons taking legal ownership of said property must register to bid prior to bidding on an item. You must be 18 years of age to register as a bidder. Children are welcome but we ask that you keep them with you during the auction within the seating area.

NO GUARANTEE - Everything is sold as is, where is, without guarantee or warranty of any kind, regardless of any statements made by any persons in or at the sale. Use your preview period to inspect any and all property you may bid on and accept your purchase with all its faults and flaws.

Other than delivery of title and bill of sale, neither auctioneer nor any auction staff makes or implies any warranty of any kind. Use the auction catalogs provided as informational guides and use auction preview to confirm information on the catalogs. Catalogs are not exempt from error and we will not warranty.

PAYMENTS All payments must be paid in full Tuesday by 5:00 pm following the auction. Our hours: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If vehicles are not paid in full by 5:00 pm on Tuesday following the sale, then the $200 deposit will be forfeited due to a breach of contract. DUE TO DISHONEST BIDDERS IF YOU WIN A BID THE $200.00 DEPOSITS MUST BE PAID IN CASH. NO EXCEPTIONS!! 

METHODS OF PAYMENT We accept cash, debit and credit. We do not accept a personal check but will accept a bank-certified cashier's check and money orders. We charge a $1 fee for debit and 2% fee for credit. We can accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, Diner's Club and Discover, but we do not accept American Express.

YARD RULES - There will be no moving of vehicles during preview and sale times. Any violators are grounds to ejection from the yard and punishable by law in accordance with insurance regulations and state liability codes.

BIDDING INCREMENTS - The auctioneer always has the right to refuse ANY and all bids. He also has the right to set the bidding increments, and lot or re-lot items prior to fall of the gavel, regardless of the type of auction being conducted.

HOLD HARMLESS - The buyers hereby indemnify and hold harmless the auctioneer and/or clients, also to include any other parties in the company for damages, claims, or liabilities from injuries to persons or property of any type caused during the removal of the property purchased. Buyers remove purchases at their own risk.

RESPONSIBILITY & TITLE - Buyers are responsible for their purchase after the gavel falls. You must guard your purchase accordingly. The auctioneer is an agent under contract for the property being sold. Absolutely no adjustments, claims or refunds will be allowed after final settlement. Any claims must be made at the block at the time of sale. You must be 18 years of age to register a vehicle in your name.

TAXES & FEES - This sale has a $200 cash deposit on all vehicles. This secures the bid until 5:00 pm on Tuesday. If you choose not to pay you will lose your deposit and will be asked to leave the auction, your name will be publicly posted on our Do Not Register list. Once you are awarded the bill, a 12% buyer's premium is added and we collected 8.5% sales tax on top of that total. Licensing is a mandatory $42.00 per title transfer and a $50 documentation fee for processing and supplies. Plates and tabs can be provided through us and price differs per vehicle. Depending on your registered address, an RTA and TBD fee will be collected. 

OUT-OF-STATE RESIDENTS - In order to meet Washington's non-taxation requirements, you will need to provide the following proper documents: state ID or driver’s license and one of the following: current residential agreement, property tax statement, utility bill dated within the past two months, state income tax return from previous year, voter registration card or other approved department of revenue. If for any reason we have to license the purchased unit in WA state, WA state requires you pay WA state sales tax.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - Any announcements on the day of the auction shall take precedence over any other previously advertised or stated conditions. Please ask auctioneer or staff if you have any questions.
